Speak
I have been reading this book called Speak. There is one person in this book who really catches my attention. Her name is Melinda. She is in High school. She is in the 9th Grade. She has a big story to tell. She has a lot that has happened to her and now her world is upside down.
When she was at High School Party, She had gotten a little drunk. While she was at the party, she was raped so she called the police so they busted the party and everyone was forever mad at her. None of her friends would talk to her. She was pretty much a loner. Then she met Heather. Who was the only “friend” she had at the beginning of the year.
Melinda is starting to hate her life. One day when Heather became popular, she did not want to be friends with Melinda. That is what I call a Fake person and friend. I believe what Heather did is very wrong. I say never turn on a friend.
Well this is one of the characters I like the most. I like h er because a lot of the people going through what she is going through are dead or Emo because it is a lot of stuff to be dealing with. She is a very strong character. I believe anyone who hasn’t read this book should Fast!
