Galaxies Yours and Mine Liz Brown
Our galaxies are so unique. There are so many different kinds. They are so different from each other none of them are like each other. I went and did a little research and what I found was amazing.
The first type of Galaxy I will be talking about is the Spiral Galaxy. It has arms and it is in a Pinwheel shape. When I look at it, it looks like gas and stars combined. I think it is beautiful. About 77% of the galaxies are spirals. Spiral galaxies look different depending on the angle that you see it from.
Second, is the Elliptical galaxy. It can be a circle or it can be an oval. It is also very common of star cities. This is one of the main 3 galaxies out of the 3. Most Elliptical galaxies are made of older stars. I believe it somewhat cool how older stars can make a whole galaxy.
Third, is the irregular galaxy. This is a really cool one, it is made up of stars that do not have a definite shape. They are so different. The amazing thing is that all Irregular galaxies were once a elliptical or spiral galaxy but got deformed in the gravitational pull.
Well these are a couple of the things I learned during my research you should check it out and research some of the things you like. It can really be interesting. Try It you never know.
