The Milky Way Like No Other!!!

The Milky Way like no other.

The Milky Way is not like most Galaxies. It is amazing how nothing in the universe is ever the same. It is unique. I Wanted to learn more about it and compare it to different galaxies. I would love to show you some of the things I learned.

Our Galaxy “The Milky Way” is 100,00 Light Years from end to end. The beautiful center which is luxuriously glowing, but it is hidden by the outer dust clouds. Our Galaxy has four Spiral Arms. Those arms would include; The Orion, Centaurus, Sagittarius, and Persues. You have probably heard of a zodiac sign, Well we have constellations all over our Galaxy and A lot of them go with a Zodiac Sign and Sagittarius, I know is one of them.

Our Galaxy was never really known until 1609 when they made the new telescope. Astronomers were very happy when they found this new Galaxy. As you can see the Milky Way has been here for a while. The Milky Way is actually a thick band of light. The Milky Way’s light is actually natural. It is a natural Chemical Reaction

The other Galaxy I will be talking about is the “Sombrero Galaxy”. The interesting thing about this Galaxy is that is actually looks like a hat. It has a think ring of gas around a big glob of light. Some of the ways they differ is that I believe our Galaxy is a lot bigger and the colors differ. Our galaxy is just light. These are just a couple of ways it differs. I think that these are too very interesting Galaxies and I would love to learn more.

Well these are 2 Galaxies that I found interesting. You should check them out sometime. There is so much to learn about in the universe and this is just one of the many things. Planets and Outer Space can be fun too. Research Outer space and see what you can find.

The Colorful World

Inspired by: isola di san giacomo in palude chandelier
The colorful world
The world is a very colorful place.
No one thing in the world is the same color, shape or size.
This world has it own way of being unique.
We have the colors in the world.
The objects in the world are all different.
We are all different .
You aren’t me.
And I’m not you.

Proficiency #5

My 5th proficiency was with dominoes. i was using Newtons Laws Of Motion. i am using the law that an object in motion stays in motion until acted on by an outside force. Well i set up the dominoes but in between to i put a tissue and i put a car. i timed how long it took for the snowball effect to end so i did it   3 times i did one with car and tissue. And 3 times without anything.

Tissue
1-1.15s
2-.60s
3-.58

car
1-stopped
2-(moved closer) stopped
3-(closer) stopeed

None
1-.30
2-.23
3-.16
As you can tell Newtons Laws did work it either slowed it down or stop it completely.

Proficiency #4

For my 4th proficiency i was also exerting force. i took 2 objects lighter and heavier. I ran the objects into each other and i did this 3 times. i rated it 0-5 depending on how the objects reacted. Also i wanted to see how they separated. My Light object was 2 balls. My heavier object was 2 cars.

Balls

1st-1
2nd-1
3rd-3

cars

1st-4
2nd-5
3rd-2.5

I believe that the cars did alot better. they had more force. It was exerted better also.

Proficiency #3

On this Proficiency i was experimenting the exert of Force onto another object. I took 2 cups and i put corn and water into them i glued them together and I would run a car into it to see how much force it would it exert and i did it 3 times. i would do it very hard and hard/soft. I rated the Force exerted on a scale of 0-5. 0 meaning not moving. 5 being a lot of force.

Hard/soft

1st-1.5
2nd-1.5
3rd-2

Very Hard

1st-3.5
2nd-2
3rd- 2
As you can see it did better when i pushed a stronger force because it exerted more force and had a greater hit.

Proficiency #2

My 2nd Proficiency was applying Friction. I was trying to see if a ball would roll faster with more or less friction. So i put a sort of hard scrubbing material on one side of the ramp. i put a border in the middle and a plain wooden ramp on the other side.i rolled the same ball down each side 5 times.

Friction

1st- 1.1s
2nd-.6s
3rd-.6s
4th-.5s
5th-.7s

No Friction

1st-.5s
2nd-.8s
3rd-.6s
4th-.5s
5th-.4s

As you can see the rimes in alot of the places were very close but i believe the ball rolled better without alot of friction.

Proficiency #1

My 1stProficiency is a pulley and i was seeing if a pulley would go faster with less or more weight. when i created this project i had in mind a crane and how it picks up weight so i added popcorn kernels into a bowl and kept the other one empty. The data was that with popcorn the 1st time i got 12.05 seconds. The 2nd time i got 7.14 seconds. The 3rd time i got 5.34seconds. I also did it without Popcorn and the 1st time i got 4.09 seconds. The 2nd time i got 3.57 seconds. The 3rd time i got 3.35 seconds. Well as you can see with less weight it does a lot better. In this experiment i examined and experimented ' How simple machines utilize mechanical advantage to transfer energy.

The Persistence of Memory: My analysis

The Persistence of Memory: My analysis

I believe this picture was made to tell about life. I think his life Is sleeping away. I believe their life is almost over and they are thinking about there memories. The memories are almost gone. They are slowly going away. They use to be good but now they turning very bad.
